SportsMaidan ("we", "us", "our") provides live streaming, scoring, and tournament management software for sports organizers. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account information — when an organizer requests access or is set up on the platform, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and club/organization name.

Tournament, team, and player data — information organizers enter to run a tournament, including team rosters, player details, match schedules, and scores.

Broadcast and media data — camera streams, match footage, replay clips, and graphics/sponsor assets uploaded while producing a live broadcast.

Payment information — subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details on our own servers.

Usage data — standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the platform secure and working correctly.

3. How We Use Information

• To create and manage organizer and crew accounts
• To run tournaments, matches, live broadcasts, and public scoreboards
• To process subscription payments and send billing communications
• To respond to support requests
• To improve the reliability and performance of the platform

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We share limited data with the service providers that power SportsMaidan, strictly to operate the platform:

• Razorpay — payment processing
• LiveKit / streaming infrastructure — real-time video delivery for camera feeds and broadcasts
• Cloud storage providers — hosting of uploaded media (replay clips, sponsor images/videos, logos)
• Google Analytics — aggregate website usage statistics
• Email delivery services — account and transactional emails

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Public Content

Tournament standings, live scores, player profiles, and match broadcasts that an organizer marks public are visible to anyone with the link, by design — that's the purpose of the platform. Organizers control what's marked public versus private for their own tournaments.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and tournament data for as long as an account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 8.

7. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your login session and interface preferences (such as light/dark theme), and Google Analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may not work correctly without them.

8. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at sportsmaidan1@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children's Privacy

SportsMaidan is intended for use by adults organizing or managing sports events. Player rosters may include minors added by a team or tournament organizer on their behalf — organizers are responsible for having appropriate consent to submit that information.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
